People & Community

People & Community

We have always been a company of people, a family business for over 120 years. What guides our work every day is our commitment to:

  • promoting a fair and proactive working environment to safeguard equal treatment;
  • ensuring the professional growth of employees and the development of skills through ongoing training;
  • developing valuable synergies with schools and universities, and collaborations with local social and cultural organisations.

TRAINING AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

We recognise the strategic value of continuous training, investing in structured programmes to strengthen individual and collective skills and performance.

In 2024, 3,156 hours of training were delivered (+5% compared with 2023), with an average of 13.6 hours per employee. In 2025, the hours delivered rose to 3,998.

Our commitment

In 2026, the technical and cross-functional training programme continues, with initiatives increasingly geared to people's growth and development needs, in order to offer Galletti staff continuous, concrete and effective opportunities for professional development.

GENDER EQUALITY AND EQUITY

Our ability to evolve is rooted in plurality and equity, making gender equality a concrete, everyday commitment.

We firmly believe that valuing every individual is not only an ethical choice, but the essence of a path that generates shared value and shared flourishing over the long term.

We have decided to give concrete substance and measurability to our commitment by adopting and launching, during 2024, the path towards obtaining certification of a Gender Equality Management System compliant with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 practice, obtaining the certification in October 2025.

This system is based on a multi-year Strategic Plan, internal policies and operating procedures designed to promote equity, respect, equal opportunities and the recognition of skills, regardless of gender, age, orientation or background, across all organisational processes.

For this reason, we involve management and employees through paths of dialogue and awareness around plurality, gender equity and work–life balance, cultivating language and behaviours that reflect our values.

In 2026, an internal voluntary committee was set up, created to talk openly about gender equality, integration and mutual respect within the company. People from different departments and offices sit around the same table, in a climate of trust, to share their thoughts and personal experiences without fear of being judged. Those who take part give their time and sensitivity with the aim of building a more welcoming, respectful and equitable working environment.

Also in 2026, a training programme on gender equality was launched for all company staff. In March, three training sessions were already held, involving 150 employees.

Our commitment

Online training paths, accessible via a Galletti-made platform, are currently being structured.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND THE LOCAL AREA

Operating in a local context means taking responsibility for actively contributing to the economic, social and environmental development of the communities in which we are present.

We actively support socially and culturally impactful initiatives through contributions and collaborations with local and national organisations.

  • Solidarity and citizenship: we contribute to projects run by organisations that make a difference, such as Ageop Ricerca and Antoniano (a soup kitchen for those in need), and we work with the San Pietro in Casale school on full-participation programmes for children with disabilities (the INclusion project).
  • Culture and identity: for 10 years now we have been a partner of the Cineteca di Bologna (Teatro Modernissimo, Cinema sotto le stelle), a cultural institution that champions local and international film and historical heritage. Our support for culture extends to musical excellence with the Fondazione Musica Insieme, which promotes international concert talent in the city of Bologna and beyond, as well as the Festival Musica sull'Acqua in Colico, a programme in which music engages in dialogue with nature and the lakeside landscape, greatly appreciated for the participation of young musicians performing alongside internationally renowned artists.
  • Environment and resources: we have begun supporting the protection of a protected area for biodiversity and the enhancement of the local wildlife heritage, located right next to our facility, Oasi La Rizza in Bentivoglio. For several years we have also supported the initiatives of Canali di Bologna – the Reno and Savena Canal Consortia, which promote water culture by highlighting the importance of water as a resource and the hydraulic history of the city of Bologna.

Our commitment

  • Consolidating our existing partnerships with the local and national organisations we work with, ensuring continuity and stability over time.
  • Maintaining concrete support for projects of social inclusion, environmental protection and cultural enhancement of the local area.
  • Remaining open to new collaborations that share our values of solidarity, respect and local identity.
