Comfort, design and tradition in perfect harmony
The new Ortygia Suites complex, located in Ftelia Bay on Mykonos, has been designed to offer visitors the comfort of a home while fully integrating with the landscape and local architectural tradition. Set within a 5,000 m² estate, the complex spans over 500 m², including 7 apartments (arranged over 2 floors and 3 levels) and shared spaces.
Installed HVAC solutions
To ensure consistent, quiet climate comfort throughout the year—while blending harmoniously with the aesthetics of the interiors—the air conditioning system was implemented using Galletti solutions supplied by the Greek distributor Tsitsos Klima.
Specifically, the system includes:
- 2 MCI heat pumps, each with a capacity of 16 kW, dedicated to heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production, ensuring high performance, energy efficiency, and low maintenance costs.
- ART-U fan coil units, selected for their combination of refined design, slim profile, and aesthetic customization options. These units integrate seamlessly into the interiors, becoming part of the overall architectural concept.
- Concealed ESTRO fan coil units, in their low-profile version with a length of just 413 mm, installed in areas where minimal visual impact was required. Their strategic placement promotes uniform and circular air distribution. Custom triangular openings— inspired by the traditional dovecotes of the Cycladic Islands—were designed to replace standard grilles, contributing to the project’s unique aesthetic identity. Particular attention was paid to low noise levels and precise airflow control, ensuring comfort and tranquility for guests.
Result
The installed system fully meets the complex’s requirements for efficiency, quiet operation, and architectural integration, demonstrating how Galletti solutions can combine Italian craftsmanship, energy efficiency, and refined design in high-quality settings.

The partnership with Tsitsos Klima, exclusive Galletti distributor in Greece, was key to the project’s success. Their technical expertise and ongoing collaboration with the design team made it possible to identify the solutions best suited to the specific needs of Ortygia Suites.
